I checked the box that said I have yet to take the Teas, and that I agree to take it at PCC. They then called me saying that they wont offer the test at the college and that I would have to take it somewhere else.

They usually offer the test to those who are accepted. Are you sure that isn't the case this year?

Im thinking maybe they made me take it at an ATI Center more likely because they couldnt offer the Teas on the day I wanted to take it on? I also heard that they offer the Teas to those who are eligible, and are chosen for the pool for the lottery.

Hi everyone! I applied to PCC for Fall 2014 ADN program also! From what I've read in the previous boards about pcc fall acceptance, we should be hearing back next week! I am nervous/ excited! Also I applied last semester and took the TEAS at Pasadena. From what I understood, if you completed your app, you got invited to take the TEAS there. I was invited last semester to take the Teas, maybe things changed this semester. I was chosen as an alternate but not fully accepted.

I was picked as an alternate last semester as well. Hopefully we get in this time around.

Oh cool so we are both in the same boat! Yes my fingers and toes are crossed hoping we get in this time :)

Well if someone was accepted to the PCC program but they decide to go somewhere else, then that spot opens up and whoever is next on the alternate list gets to fill that spot. So being an alternate is pretty much like being on a wait list.

Actually, last year applicants started receiving their acceptance emails from April 24. I was hoping we would hear back from them this week :-), but I guess that's not going to happen since it's already Friday

Based on last years post they found out on Friday, April 24th and Monday, April 27th so I think they should start coming this afternoon, if the timeline is the same. Fingers crossed!!!
