Pasadena Fall 2014

Kinda of depressing if you ask me. If anyone has an acceptance letter from another school I suggest you accept and go. PCC doesn't sound promising for us alternates. I can't wait until August to find out.

Urgh, that is depressing! PCC is the only school I applied to so I am just waiting...But I have 2 kids and have to plan ahead for daycare coverage so I won't be able to accept a position in August. It just doesn't give me enough time to get things in order.

I guess we still have a chance though...

I feel you. I have responsibilities as well. I can't do it in August if that's the case. Do you know when orientation is for the people that got in?

I called again and they finally answered. The guy who answered said that they started calling the alternates, but so far one alternate was called and offered the position. He said to expect an email or a phone call within the next two weeks. He also said that we can be called 3 weeks before the fall semester starts, so he said to keep checking the emails. He also apologized for taking so long.

Well, that's a quick update, I don't know of anyone else have any input.

It is quite frustrating how they do it. I feel for all of you waiting. I read on some other PCC forums that some people were called even after the semester has already started, which is just ridiculous. Nursing school is not something you get ready for at the last minute. Fingers crossed for all of you. Hang in there!
