Pace Fall 2014 ABSN

Hi There,

I've applied for the ABSN program at Pace for Fall 2014 and recently was notified that I needed to attend an interview. Does anyone have any insight as to what to expect at the interview? Anyone else applying for Fall? Any current or past students available to offer insight on the program? Also, is admission determined on rolling basis?

Whoa, I have a lot of questions!

Thanks, in advance, for any feedback you can offer!

Noo! I'm from SBU too, remember I met you looking for the room together?!

Haha I hope you did well on your interview :)

Yessss!! I remember! Fancy seeing you on here! :) I thought my interview went ..ok?....they didn't have any questions towards me so idk if that's good or not. Lol. How did yours go? They told us we'd find out in a month but I really want to know ASAP! :\

I didn't hear anything either :/ But they said they would start sending out letters today. And heyy I go to Stony Brook U :D

I received my acceptance message from Pace just now, they sent it by e-mail. I had my interview on March 10th.

OMG!!! Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you!! You're so lucky!!! :D

@annapt, do you mind sharing your stats? :)

@kdacayo, what kind of stats? My GPA?

If you don't mind! Do you have a lot of experience and stuff?

I received my email of acceptancr but I'm a little confused because I applied for the 1 yr but got accepted for the 2 yr program. Not sure why they would do that.

For my Bachelor's, I had a 3.6 GPA and 3.9 for the Nursing pre-reqs which I took at a CUNY to save on the $$. I don't really have a lot of hospital/clinical experience but I do a lot of other volunteering.

I've actually already been accepted (and responded) to my first choice ABSN program, so I'll have to officially decline Pace's offer when I get the notice in the mail. I just wanted to post here so that everyone else would have an idea that they're getting back to people. I know the reason why I started checking out these boards in the first place is to get some estimate of when I should expect to hear back from the schools.

Congratulations!!! But yea...that's really weird, I saw that happen in last year's forum. What are you going to do? Did you tell them you were planning on working during the program?

And when was your interview?

Congrats!!!! When did u interview??

Thank :) I told them that I didn't have to work during the program. I will call them tomorrow morning to find out what happened. I hope that it was a mistake.
