Hi!

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the fall 2020 ABSN program at Pace so we can go through this application process together!

twins LOL, I also got rejected from stony..waiting to hear back from mercy but I have a low GPA regardless of my strong essay and experience and letters from NPs...but we must continue to truck on!

You guys should Apply to Concordia NY. They are still accepting applications for fall 2020. You have to take the TEAS.

Oh great congratulations! I did as well! Did you get accepted anywhere else? Are you choosing to go?

I got accepted at the Medical University of South Carolina, and I am waiting to hear back from NYU and Mercy. I do not think I am going to accept due to the clinicals being so far away as well as the programs expenses! Best of luck to everyone!

Did they tell you guys that clinicals are in New Jersey or Connecticut? I haven’t heard that before. Is that a new thing?

I feel like this is the first I’m hearing of it as well. Since it’s located in manhattan, I would think that the clinical as would have to be accessible via public transportation.

I’m thinking really hard about it. My concern is the cost of tuition and the intensity of the program. I’ve spoken with some alumni’s and current students and they said Pace is really intense, and had to take out multiple loans but it was worth it... according to them

When I had my virtual interview, it was one of the things they stressed and how we have no control over it since it's hard as is to place applicants at clinical sites. I just find it frustrating that I did not have access to this info until I submitted the application and had the interview.

My application is being super funky at this point and not showing any of my submitted documents. It's saying only a resume and personal statement were submitted on my behalf.

But I know that's not right because I've been in touch with Pace admissions.

If I remember correctly, this happened to others as well?

My application is the same, my checklist is gone and just says I’ve submitted my statement and resume. Pretty sure it’s fine, this happened like a day after my interview

Did anyone who interviewed March 3 hear back yet? I’m driving myself crazy checking my email etc

I haven't been offered an interview, however. The suspense is getting to me.

When did you apply? I applied the last day of the deadline (1/31) and got an interview email on 2/10.
Suspense is definitely getting to me as well!!

Hey, so I applied a few weeks before the deadline. I still haven’t had a request for an interview, but according to past forums not everyone gets interviewed. Some students were accepted without an interview. However, I don’t feel like my application was that spectacular to be accepted without an interview.

The good news is I haven’t been rejected yet either. Just wish I knew my status, even if it means a rejection.

I have no experience but my grades are good. It’s really up in the air!
