  1. Hey guys! I’m super excited for the program to start and I’m wondering if anybody is looking for a housemate! I know it’s much more cost efficient to live with somebody else. Message back if anybody’s interested! thanks!
  2. @tld415 No way! That’s crazy! Yeah find me on facebook and we can see if it would work out!! My names lily Glading-Dilorenzo on facebook! @ga flamingo that’s awesome! How long did you study for the exam for? And I think I’ll be taking it remotely too was it expensive to take it remotely or how much per test was it? thanks for all the help! Stay safe everybody and excited to meet you all! ?
  3. Hey everybody!! Since orientation got pushed back to August because of everything going on right now I thought I would write on here and see if anybody is looking for a housemate in Savannah for the school year! I currently live in Columbus GA (a few hours from Savannah) and I’ve been seeing a bunch of super nice apartments and houses for rent for the year that are a really good price especially if you’re splitting! I will defs be taking a trip or two over to Savannah before the year starts to look at places to live and get that settled so if anybody lives maybe far away and can’t visit I’d be able to do all the legwork for that so you don’t have to worry about that! let me know If you’re interested and you can find me on facebook my name is Lily Glading-DiLorenzo!
  4. Hey @ConcernedTiger ! Lynn said they approved this online course: NURS 326: Pathophysiology from University of Northern Colorado and that it will count for pathophysiology. It looks like just little quizzes for each chapter and looks self paced!
  5. Did they tell you guys that clinicals are in New Jersey or Connecticut? I haven’t heard that before. Is that a new thing?
  6. Hey everybody! So I called to ask about the tuition and from what they told me it is the same rates as the undergraduate rates. I think it goes by credit hour but then it is capped at 15 credit hours a semester so anything above that has a flat rate I believe. So for the fall and spring it’s that flat rate and then for the summer I think it’s like only 12 credit hours or something so it’s less for the summer semester. hope that helps!! For the GA and US history and constitution has anybody taken the exemption exams for those or know how hard they are / if it’s pretty doable to pass them? I need to take those and also going to be taking pathophysiology online over the spring. They said you can take it online as long as they approve the syllabus.
  7. Hey @ConcernedTiger thanks for reaching out!! I had asked about a few of those questions too and got the same response. From what I’ve found out from other people it looks to be 2-3 days a week of classes and 2 days of lab and then 1 day of clinicals each week. I know it’s split into 7 week sessions so at the 7 week mark a couple of the classes change and I believe as the program goes we’ll end up doing more clinical days and less in class days. Have you applied to other programs or do you think you’ll end up committing to the GSU program?
  8. @Kristina11 Just messaged you!
  9. @Fruit Ninja I submitted very end of january and was contacted for a different form of my unofficial transcript on Friday Feb 7th and then got the interview invite the Monday following!
  10. Hey guys! I just got accepted to the ACE program! I am super excited! Still waiting to hear back from a couple programs before making a final decision. 13. Hey everybody! I was just accepted to the Accelerated BSN program at Georgia Southern University! I thought I would start a tread to see if anybody else has applied / been accepted or knows any more information on the program. I am curious how many people are in each accelerated BSN cohort, if all courses are taken with the traditional BSN students, what the NCLEX pass rate is for the ABSN program, and what some reviews people have heard on the program are. Please let me know if you know any more info than I do! Thanks!
