I got my FNP at OU. I work in interventional pain management. I thought the program was fine! Finding clinical placements were the most challenging thing, but I got lucky and had them in line at least 6mo-1 year ahead of time. My whole class passed boards the first time. The masters programs are now moving towards a DNP. OU is now a DNP and the other online programs are starting to follow suite!

Sorry, I know this is an old post but I can't find a new chat with OU ABSN 2023. I was accepted this year and was wondering if you went straight into the FNP-DNP portion or did you work for as a nurse for a few years? Can you send me a PM? I have a few more questions about the program! Thank you! 

I can't find a page for accepted students for 2023. Any current students on here? I have a few questions about the program. Is it Monday-Friday in person? Or are some classes virtual? Is there a page where I can connect with current/past students? Thanks!

Hey y'all! First off, CONGRATULATIONS! I'm the current president for the ABSN cohort.

Schedule wise: A lot of things are changing and will continue to change before you all get here in June but for us, Summer was very very busy. We were basically on campus every single day sometimes. It just really varies, best thing I can say is to just prepare for the worst. Things come up at the last minute or get changed at the last minute as well. You just never know. All the classes are in person except the intercession classes, those are all online.
