I need suggestions on online masters programs. What program did you go through? What was it like? What would you suggest?

What do you want your master's in? Nurse practitioner? If so, what specialty? Education? Informatics?
I'm currently in the MSN-FNP program at Simmons College and like them so far.
I am looking into educator. But I have to do it online
Do a Google search for online MSN nurse educator programs and do a little research. Once you find some schools that might work, search the forums on here to see what's already been discussed. Also these questions would do better in a more specific section than "general nursing." Good luck with your journey :-)

I am doing an Informatics MSN online. Love it. The first 4 classes are generic advanced practice classes and some stuff does not apply, but I like learning about other stuff. Most of it is evaluating research, research models, literature review, quantitative versus qualitative and writing for publication. After this, we all go into out specialty cohorts. We also have webinars, Webex meetings. it's come a long way from the first online courses I took!

I am in the same boat as you. I just applied and got accepted to the Nurse Educator program at Cappella. There are no schools near me that offer that program on campus. I start next month. Now, I am starting the whole process of financial aid, scholarships, etc. Good luck to you!
Capella is a good school from what I have heard. One of my ex instructors is a professor there. They also offer one of the only masters in diabetes education. Almost did that one.
