One of 45! Yippee!

Well my friends, it looks like I finally made it into College of the Redwoods for Fall 2009! It's been a LONG two-plus year wait, and I'm excited! :yeah:

Is there anyone else out there who received a letter from them? Mine just stated that I was #6 on their wait list and that I'd get the official acceptance letter by April 20th.

I also applied to Sierra, Sac City and ARC, but I haven't yet heard from them yet. That's the dilemma...what if I get accepted to one of those? They start sooner and are much closer to where I live (no moving involved, really).

It's sort of a weight off my shoulders though, to at least know I have a backup school, so when the dreaded thin envelopes arrive in the mailbox I won't be too disappointed.

Now, I just have to figure out what to do with my time; take a class (I don't need anymore), relax, try and get some patient-care skills going, I'm getting nervous just thinking about it!

Congratulations!

I know how it feels to get that letter, it's like winning the lottery (well...close)!

I began my program this fall, it's a lot of work, but I love it!!

I can't believe this first semester is almost over already!

GOOD LUCK!

CONGRATULATIONS! :yeah:

CONGRATS!!! :dncgbby:

Congrats!!! I received my letter from ARC on Friday:lol2:

Congratulations! College of the Redwoods was one I was considering if I didn't get into a program here in Sacramento. Now I'm glad I didn't have to worry about it, if you're getting your acceptance for Fall now!

If you get accepted into a program around here for Spring, go for it! You'll get through a semester faster and not have to move.
