On a lighter note

I thought I might start another happy thread since they make me happy. I want you to say something nice about yourself and then say something nice about your class/your nursing faculty. I'll start it: I graduate two weeks from today and I've got to say that my college has some awesome faculty. They are helpful and friendly and available when I need someone to talk to and it's been wonderful to have them. :nurse:

About myself: I can learn anything because I am intelligent. I know what I know, and I know when I don't know.

About my teachers: They are smarter than I am about nursing, and I am grateful for their mentorship. Except for one who I will never have to encounter again. ;-) My current preceptor for this rotation is awesome. Couldn't ask for better.

About time someone was happy haha.

Something nice about myself...I don't toot my own horn. I don't like being cocky or anything. I learn what I learn when I learn it, but I'll always be learning.

Loved my nursing school. Graduated a couple of semesters ago and work in the hospital where I had some clinicals. Being an RN is a good deal to really sum it up. But I still see and talk to my instructors, especially since I'm in grad school for nursing education with intentions of teaching in clinical.

Where in Texas are you going to school? I'm planning on moving to Austin after grad school and stuff.

I go to school in Killeen, it's over there by Ft. Hood and stuff. About to be finished with my ADN, but I'm going to immediately start working on my BSN.

Cool thread!

About me: I'm a great listener because I truly enjoy listening, as opposed to talking, which requires thought and process, and I like to put a lot of thought into what I'm listening to and a lot of thought into what I want to say. Does that make sense? LOL

About my school: Looking at the way my school plans out entry into the nursing program and what you need to know to succeed in this program, makes me believe even more, that my school really wants us to succeed.

My instructors are absolutely, 100% fabulous (so far).
