Off Topic Need Prayers Please!!

I found out tonight that a friend of mine has colon cancer. I got the info from the front page of tonight's paper. He was my EMT instructor in 2001. He also told me to follow my dream of becoming a nurse, even though I had the highest grade in his class. He told me that would have made a good paramedic., but that I would make a GREAT nurse. He helped me deal with the tragic events on 9-11-2001.

There is going to be a fundraiser for him and another Firefighter tomorrow night. Please pray that God will heal him and give me peace.

I feel as though I have been sucker punched.
