odd question

I have an odd question about the NCLEX . I am going to be taking it on Friday and I was planning on wearing a velour hoodie and pants. Am I allowed to wear clothes like that? Or do you haev to dress professional? I dont want to get kicked out for not being dressed appropriately lol.

nope, you can dress whatever you want. but they prefer you to wear comfortable cloth with layers because you dont know the temperature inside of testing center

I would use layers, with the air conditioner it can get very cold. I went with a shirt, jeans and light sweater that can take it off if you get hot.

They made me take off my hoodie at my testing site. They told me "hoodies" were not allowed.:\

hoodies are not allowed? what else are not allowed?

are you a teenager member of the hood?! Your going into a test, dont dress like a slob! Dress according, use your head. Dress nice, it will influence your thinking processes!

I would think that the test site administrators would preclude clothing like hoodies or baseball caps to make their job of preventing cheating easier.

We were allowed to wear hoodies at my test site. they just ask you if there's anything in your pockets and hoodie but they never made me take it off. It can get cold in there sometimes. You obviously can't wear a hat in there, but I've seen people wearing sweats and sweaters to business casual. I would check with your test site if you have any questions just to be sure so that your anxiety is not increased when you have to take off your sweater.

I wore hoodies but they checked my hoodie cap lol

Hi!

Just want to share my experienced during my first take. It's not about the dress. It's about the bracelet that I was wearing in my right arm. This bracelet I got from China, which according to belief, will make your concentration sharp,so I wore it, but I was told to remove it.I just left it in my purse.

I would like to ask if we are allowed to bring a bottle of water in the test? I have not done this before, but would like to know.I have this itchy throat, side effect of my medication for BP,so I have to sip water once I felt this.

Just want to know, thanks for any idea.

you can wear anything as long as comfortable for you.,

You can't take a bottle of water in to your exam but you could put a bottle in your locker for use on breaks.
