Occupation Nursing

I have a coworker that worked occupational health at a aluminum smelter. She said it was feast or famine. She spent a lot of time chasing people down to do mandatory testing. And there was a lot of OSHA paperwork to keep up on. 

I had a friend who completed his entire MSN program while on the clock for an occupational nursing gig.

Yes I've been told to bring a book to this job. I think it's going to be a real good fit for me. And I won't have female generated drama since these workersare predominantly men. I go out tomorrow to orient.

It's a real part time gig, good for semi-retirement. It's an hour drive, 12 hrs shifts. That is all where the Microsoft infrastructure facilities are that they are building. I have my PPE already,  which consists of a hard hat, a fluorescent jacket, and steel toed boots. I did a little contract at one of these sites already so I kind of know a little bit about it.
