If you graduated in 2013 in the UK, then did you graduate as a generalist? I doubt it, as UK training since 2000 has been in one of four branches.

You need to have adequate training hours in adult med/surg, pediatrics, mental health and obstetric/maternal health nursing.

I'm sorry about this but the only solution I see to your problem is to go back to school and do the missing clinical and theoretical areas you missed. You need a good CES report so a BON can give you an ATT so you can take your NCLEX. I think this is the only way you can be a RN in the US.

This discussion never gets old here is my humble opinion nothing is black and white regarding UK training and obtaining US nurse license. There are some facts that people know like the requirements of subjects theory and practice etc ...but seriously no one knows the last word about how the all UK nursing schools work and all the BON in the 50 states. It takes due deligence and research. Some where in Texas some one with less qualifications through blood, sweat and tears is working at a RN. If your CES came out positive there might be a state that will consider you. When you in you in you can endorse back to Texas. That is my optimistic hypothesis !

Endorsing is not always easy when graduating from outside the US. Some states still treat you as if the application is an initial application and requires a look into transcripts. Some go through with no issues and others really struggle

My husband is UK trained RN. He graduated about 20yrs ago. When he applied for his US license about 5yrs ago he met all the requirements and was given his ATT straight away. Has UK RN educated changed a lot since then?

Yes it has changed. It's no longer generalist, now in the UK nurses pick an area-adult,paediatric mental health. Then most of your training focuses on your choice. This makes it really difficult for nurses to qualify for an ATT in order to take the NCLEX.

Per my CGFNS CES report its Comparable to the registration of a first-level general

(Registered) nurse in the United States.

However now i am applying to Florida as they do not have a restriction on how many years i have been out of school. they also require CGFNS CES report so now when i asked CGFNS to send the initial evaluation report to Florida BON, they said i need to get a CES re evaluation.

which required me to get new forms signed by my schools, because cgfns changes the forms this year and wouldn't use my old forms.

now they have received everything for the re evaluation. i was wondering how long does the reevaluation take and also is the reevaluation have same report as evaluation?
