Nursing Residencies

Does anyone plan on applying to nursing residencies during their last year?

Featured Replies

yes I do, I want to apply to an ICU residency and I have a list of all the hospitals in the US who have such programs and their deadlines and when to apply as well as their requirements. there are alot of hospitals with residency programs.

Yes, I plan to as well. But probably within my last semester (5th) which starts in August.

I'd love to. There are a few that I am looking into. Georgetown, Washington Hospital Center, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, & Mass General. :)

I mostly like Mass General... *drool*

im most in interested in emory. do you guys have a specialty you are interested in? I know mass general is extremely competetive and they almost never hire external candidates because the slots gets filled internally and it is even posted on the website. But there many great hospitals out there who with same residency programs.

i agree! but i can dream, LOL. emory is really great. love GA so i am considering that one too. oh, and tampa general since its close to me. i wanna get out of florida, see different places.

i like ICU, peds, trauma... really open to anything challenging

Yes, I applied to one in my state, but haven't looked outside, something for me to think about. I decided Peds isn't for me, but would like to do ICU or CCU.
