Nursing programs with NO WAITLISTS!

I got this list from this website: http://www.discovernursing.com/jnj-sectionID_4-pageID_54-dsc-landing.aspx

I am sure it is still tough to get into any of these schools, but I thought it would be a good reference for folks who have hit the wall.

Hi,

I live in the Philadelphia area and just applied to Bucks County Community College. Just took my NLN and got a passing grade. I have never had a degree in nursing before. Do you know of any schools in this area that doesn't have a waiting list. I am new to this forum as well, so I don't know a lot about the site or where to research. Help me!!

Well, i'm from philly, are you looking to get your BSN? if so have a look at gynedd mercy, temple, drexel, west chester, neumann, eastern, i know some may have waiting lists but during that time you can always take classes at a community college..it is def cheaper. pm me if you have anymore questions..i've been researchin philly schools for some time now..lol

The school I attend,Alfred State College, doesn't have a waiting list also.

Specializes in pediatric ER.

The University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ doesn't have a waitlist..

Maybe we should keep this list going and add info as we find it for all the people who are having a tough time getting past those nasty waitlists.

I am actually just trying to get my LPN degree. It would be a nice start for me and I am not really looking into going for the four year haul. Bucks County Community seems to be the only school that offers the LPN program that I know of. All the other schools that was mentioned only offers the BSN in nursing. So, if you know of any other schools in Philly that could help me out or another route I should take, then please let me know. Again, I am only interested in the LPN program for now. If you have any other suggestions for me, please feel free to let me know. I am in the dark when it comes to finding the right school.
