I am currently a biology major and i am thinking of changing my major to nursing. i have completed almost 2.5 yrs of my degree and most of the classes i have taken are easily transferable to nursing.I am looking for a RN program with no wait list it doesn't matter what state the college or university is in. I am just simply looking for a no wait list RN program and also a school that accepts international students, coz i am an international studen. I want to get started asap.So please if you know any college or university that matches this kindly reply to this post...

Try College of Coastal GA in Brunswick, GA. They have an ASN and BSN program and are currently still taking applications for their BSN program. BTW they have a 100% NCLEX pass rate! Website: www.ccga.edu.
Oh and this is the first year they have the BSN and they are accepting applications until the class is complete! You also have to complete the TEAS entrance exam...

Seminole Community College has no wait list. You're either in, or you're not. If you don't get accepted, you have to reapply with everyone else for the next year. It's in Altamonte Springs, FL.

University of Alaska Anchorage ADN program. They rank students according to GPA, completed pre-reqs, and a few other areas yearly. If you are one of the top 34 students you get into the program and if not youy can do the whole thing over the following year or until you get in. The BSN program here has a 2 1/2 year wait. Good Luck Hope you find what your looking for.

I am pretty sure most of the nursing schools in Las Vegas, NV are merit-based as well. You make the cutoff or you don't.

This is only a bit off topic...
I don't understand the "waiting list". At our school, you might be wait-listed only until they see if all the first round acceptances take the spots offered. If someone who gets in decides not to take the spot, then it'll pass to the next most qualified applicant. However, that only applies until classes begin, then all bets are off. If you don't get in that year you re-apply and compete again the next year.
When a school is said to have a "two year waiting list" does that mean that spaces in future classes are promised to students who don't make the cut in a given year? And does this mean, for example that a 2007 applicant with a 3.25 GPA and a 75th percentile RN-PAX could possibly take a 2009 admission slot over a 2009 applicant with a 3.5 GPA and a 90th percentile RN-PAX??? That doesn't seem fair.
Just asking for clarification. Thanks!

I think that some schools do not do testing, but have minimum requirements. Once those minimum requirements are filled, it's a first come, first served basis. I may be wrong, but this is how I believe it works.
The schools in my area do it the same way as yours does KatyAtlanta, so I'm not 100% sure.
