Hi, I'am new to this forum. Am from California and I just passed the NCLEX last month. This is my first time to look for a job as an RN. Unfortunately, I'm inexperienced rn. Is Nursing program a good thing to start with in a hospital or rn refresher course? Do you get paid while you are under a nursing program? Please advise. Thank you.

If you are a newly licensed RN, you need a nurse internship or extensive orientation, not a refresher course.

Refresher courses are intended for RNs who have been out of practice for an extended period of time.

Contact the nurse recruiters of your local hospitals to learn what kind of programs are offered to new grads. Any type of orientation or internship will be a paid position. Good luck!
