Nurse Practitioner Programs in NYC

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone knows of any Nurse Practitioner(NP) Programs, mainly FNP, in NYC that are less than two years, or that can be done online.

Thank you,

AN

I was accepted to Molloy college for Fall 2019. Its a 3 year part time program with some online classes. I am planning to work full time throughout the program. Hope it will be helpful.

Do you mind if i ask how much the program cost?

hi its about $1100 per credit. I need 48 credits for FNP. Pretty expensive but easy to get in.

Hi I am looking into Molloy's NP program but not sure if it's for me. Did you have to find your own preceptor? and can any of their classes be taken online too? Thanks!

I just started, but I know they give preseptors to students. I took hybrid classes it means I go to college twice a month on Saturdays, the rest of school work is online.

Cool thanks, is there like a discussion board you are required to post on? And writing assignments? Sorry for so many questions but, I have no one else to turn to. No NP's at my job to pick their brains lol.

Don't know yet. Started last week. Sorry. Ask me later.

Hi,

Can I still be accepted even my GPA is 2.7? Thanks

It is some discussions and papers. I personally would try cause it's a private college. Thanks.

When did you apply to Molloy? And how long after applying did you receive your acceptance letter? @Npontone

@Npontone since it's an online part time program, how many times did you have to go in person each semester? for exams / in general. and I know clinicals start like 4th semester, so does that mean we have to go to clinicals once a week starting 4th semester in addition to classes/exams? also did they help you place clinicals?
