NursesTakeDC

NursesTakeDC, is a grassroots movement, in the spirit of NursesUnite, led by thousands of bedside nurses from all around the United States. These nurses call for all nurses, all nursing organizations and the public to come together to advocate for safe nurse to patient ratios. This grassroots movement is dedicated to saving the lives of our patients and the nursing profession.

In 2018 nurses from around the United States will gather in Washington DC again to raise public awareness regarding safe nurse-patient ratios; meet with legislators to discuss nurse staffing; and to support the pending legislation.

Nice. Thanks for posting.

Anyone whose ever been a patient has most likely felt the need for more nurses and better staffing.

Who is going to DC for the rally? I will be there with a few others from the allnurses team. I would love to meet you.

Let's be honest. Nothing will be accomplished by this rally. The public had a lot more pressing concerns than safe patient staffing ratios. They need to worry about what rapper supports the president and what the Kardashians think is more important and what new style will be coming out for the fall. Rallies in this day and age do not do anything but stoke a few egos. The average person gets their opinion and matching orders from TV and celebrities.

Sorry you feel this way.

You'd be hard-pressed to even prove that this happened. The first one last year had the push from the whole View episode and backlash. I had to actually go hunting for it on social media.
