This is a good point, Ashley, and I totally agree. My fiance is a med student, and I like coming home and telling him about my day and knowing that he actually understands what the heck I am talking about. When I have a rough day, he understands why. He also comes home and tells me about his day at clinical, and I think it's nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of. So, I am glad I am marrying someone in the medical field.

Dude .. I swear to God .. this individual (Cqc_Cqb) either has no frickin' brains whatsoever .. or he's just good at starting serious issues with people. Maybe he likes to see how many people he can rile (spelling?) up on the internet? ..

Why the HELL would you even START to think (MORE LESS accuse) female nurses of going into the field to find their man? You're an idiot, dude. Sorry, so true.

This is the second post I've had to reply to of yours that absolutely insane.

Oh, and if I were a lady (nurse or not, but a lady PERIOD) .. I would have found this VERY disturbing. Hell, I'm a GUY and I find it degrading. Imagine the poor ladies viewing this (who by the way in case you didn't know moron .. make up the majority of the Nursing profession in the WORLD).

While you may well be very correct in your assessment and certainly entitled to your opinion, and while nurses are much more educated and able to deal with the high-tech world that nursing has become, I can remember rolling my eyes at a number of nurses in the past who were obviously flirtatious with the doctors. I personally could never understand it - I'll take orders at work but NOT at home...lol...

I'm a nursing student, but I'm also very well to do. I don't need to marry anyone, and certainly not a doctor.:trout::trout:

my sister's husband is a doctor. they were married before he was a MD and she was a RN . he has his only private practice he only takes care of certain patients he's had for years , and she is a charge nurse. they've been married along time and have 10 kids. oldest 21 youngest 6 .

I want to know where these nurses get their scrubs because I always look like I am wearing pajamas

My brother in law has a doctorate that has something to do with forestry (he counts trees).

He is the same way on the name thing...when we want to torment him we call him "Doctor".

Even the pt's where I am now use the doc's first names!
