Just wanted to warn you that if you move to Texas, and it becomes your primary address you are only allowed to work for 30 days under the compact after you establish here. I did this 8 months ago, and it was a very slow process to get my temporary license when I found this out. If you need any further info you can e-mail me. Best of luck to you.

best to go to http://www.bne.state.tx.us to get the facts. But the above is correct, you must declare ONE primary residence. If you declare that to be in TX you need to apply for a permanent license STAT, as the fingerprint process is time consuming. You can get the application for license online (by endorsement, since you have a license) and get the fingerprint packet ordered. BOTH have to be submitted, along with fees, at the same time. It is possible to get an extension after 30 days, but not easy. The 30 days starts count from the date you took your first patient in TX, so do not delay the process!
