You're only missing 1 class so they should be able to make a decision - one class won't make or break your GPA. The person Jerziana spoke to said everyone that applied in February should have a decision by next week so just keep pushing. The best thing would be to get a hold of your advisor as soon as possible & have them verify they have all your documents & that your info is posted correctly. Have you tried calling today? I would keep calling until someone helps you.

I only received access to financial aid. I wonder what that means??

I have called like 3 times today and keep getting transferred to a voicemail. So I left a message, and will call again by the end of the day again.

Yeah, I called earlier to make sure they have me as entry level BSN but the lady was rude and didn't even check she just said that if I put entry level then it is entry level.

So then I called again to get the info. and they tranfer me to voice mail.

Oh wow that's horrible!! Try calling after 4:30pm .. that's the time I called yesterday & the girl was very helpful. Maybe they're super busy right now. I'm sure they're getting non-stop calls during the day.

I finally spoke with someone, and they just told me that they are very behind on applications, because they received so many of them, but that they are working really hard to get them all processed. They are processing them as they come in and not waiting for the deadline. So I guess we need to give them some more time...I say a week and then start with the calls again.:)

You guys don't even want to know what is going on with my application!! I got a call from my adviser telling me that I had to resubmit a WHOLE new application due to the changes the nursing committee is making!! I had applied to Nova for spring of 2010 and they had got my stuff mixed up. Long story short I got accepted to ft. Myers when I didn't even apply to ft. Myers. So now I'm reapplying. My adviser told me I could apply resubmit my application online and he could waive the $50.00 application fee for fall of 2010 due to the incident. However, I just got a call stating that the nursing committee decided that I needed to resubmit my application by PAPER (not online) and pay them another $50.00 (not waiving the fee)!!! The worse part is that I'm submitting a third application this Wednesday (April 14). By the time they review my application there may not be any spots left in the program! I have lost all hope....

Oh wow - your story tops them all!! I'm so sorry to hear that .. its far beyond unfair!! I would take it up with a supervisor or someone in charge of the process. You're paying them to review your application & they can't get it right - why should you keep paying them!! I can only imagine how upset you must be .. do you have time to go in person? I would push for some kind of rush - its the least they can do given the circumstances.

It is really upsetting that they are so unorganized. You would think as a private university that make sooo much money they would have enough staff to get things done. But as far as for me I called and everything was in!
