Hi everyone,
I think I am ready to start the search for a new job. I have been practicing as an NP for 2.5 years, and I have only have had one position. I am hoping to transition from a hospital environment to a community/clinic setting. I'm wondering if there is any merit to leaving my grad school clinical rotations on my resume, since they gave me some experience in ambulatory settings...
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks for any suggestions!

I vote leave clinical experiences out of resume. This isn't real experience, because you weren't the decision-maker so no experience. You can however, mention that your clinical experience in xyz clinic has influenced you to pursue a career in a clinic setting.

I'd leave them in, as well as anything you feel would help. I did NP clinicals in a Navy hospital as well as a VA output clinic. Guess where I'm working...on a military post as a contractor...a dream job by the way.
Thanks for the thoughts!
