Nova SouthEastern Fall 2012 FNP

So, I got into Nova for the Fall 2012 FNP program. yaaay!! Orientation is this coming monday.

Anyone else starting?

Does anyone have an idea of what to expect?

Congratulations!!! I am hoping to apply for the winter term! Have you heard how the program is doing or feedback from other students that have started? Just wondering since it is new. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations!! I just completed Barry University's FNP program and getting ready to take my boards! Its going to be tough but you can do it!:yelclap:

For some reason, I have not found people from previous classes.

Classes started Mon 8/20. So far so good.

The program looks very doable (I hope)

I am looking to apply to Nova's FNP program for Aug or Jan, any feedback from those who started this past fall? Are most of the classes online or can you choose live? Are the professors knowledgeable?

I would also like to hear about their program from current students. I am trying to decide between FAN and Nova. Nova is $$ but so much closer to my house!

I am also wondering about the various NP programs. How was Nova, Barry, FIU, FAU, Miami. Does anyone have any advice?

LOL my questions are the same as yours....haven't heard too many comparisons between these programs. South U. is interesting too, UM has a very strong program and in a one year and two year track ... go figure a FNP in one year?? crazy pace. Barry's program is 3 years which a little too long for me. Thoughts?

Thats crazy! When I called them last year they assured me they had all the proper accreditation. I am glad I chose to attend FAU! That would be awful to give up so much time and money and still not be able to be an NP!
