No ejaculation after Foley?

Hello! I am new here! My husband had surgery on Febraury 16th. He had an intenstinal resection. He was had a Foley on for about two days and then it was removed. He has been home resting from his sugery. After his follow up visit with his Surgeon he was give the green light to have sexual intercourse. He is 37 years old.

It has been almost a month after his surgery and we had sex today. He says he feels he is having an orgasm, HOWEVER he is NOT ejaculating? We have tried over 4 times with the same end result.

We will be calling his Dr. tomorrow, however we decided to post here to see if anyone knows what could be the problem? He had a vasectomy done over 6 years ago and he has never had this problem before. Could they have damaged something during surgery or when they first entered the foley?

I look forward to reading the responses!

I am NOT an expert in this field but try googling "retrograde ejaculation"

We are not allowed to give medical advice on this forum. I suggest you think of a list of questions and concerns and communicate them to his doctor. Good luck !
