Jul 12, 201511 yr Yes, it should start by that time so long as you've submitted the online form as well. Didn't NMC send you an email regarding that? The scanned documents are received automatically. Thanks Kurokocchi! NMC didn't e-mail me yet regarding the start of my assessment. Is it possible though that they'll e-mail me later than the actual starting date of assessment stage?
Jul 12, 201511 yr Hi! I sent all my documents last May. I was told that my dpossible date of deployment will be last June then was moved to july 15. Until now wala pa ang cos ko. Im kinda worried coz i resigned from work na. Hi, did you already receive your decision letter from NMC? Because my dilemma is that I haven't resigned yet from work, and we should file our resignation a month before the effectivity. NMC by the way, just received all my documents last week and I think I am already up for assessment. My plan is to resign when I already received my DL and just wait for my COS and process my visa. Now, I am really not sure when is the BEST time to resign from my job. Any piece of advice, anyone? ðŸ˜
Jul 12, 201511 yr hey guys! anybody here who worked in UAE? do you have a registration certificate from HAAD?
Jul 12, 201511 yr Hello guys,Any news about those who have taken the OSCE yet? Please share your experience and how you prepared for it. Thanks:)
Jul 12, 201511 yr Thanks Kurokocchi! NMC didn't e-mail me yet regarding the start of my assessment. Is it possible though that they'll e-mail me later than the actual starting date of assessment stage? It should start already, but just send NMC an email asking for the status of your application just so they can give you a timeframe. NMC usually sends an email to people whose assessment have begun telling them they no longer need to send anything and asking them to wait at least 70 days.As for your resignation, I think asking your agency for the perceived date of deployment is a good idea. Waiting for your DL seems risky since the employer may suddenly want a batch flown in or there are enough people with their DL ready to have a cohort deployed immediately. It can all go really fast, from what I've heard.

Jul 13, 201511 yr Anyone here experienced after logging-on to their account that all the uploaded document and couriered documents have gone missing? Ugh. The line "this document has been received" suddenly was nowhere to be found and all my uploads were gone. I called the NMC last friday and they said they will address this problem. Anyone else had this? Thanks.
Jul 13, 201511 yr Hi, It also happened to mine when I logged in, the remark 'this document has been received' was nowhere to be found. I have called NMC today and said that it might be a technical glitch and also confirmed that my documents are there. Jul 13, 201511 yr Thank you for that. I though it was just me. :/ did they advice you to do anything? Did you reupload all your pdf/jprg documents again cause in my case they are also missing. :/ thanks!
Jul 13, 201511 yr You're welcome. I have already submitted my online forms it doesn't give me an option to upload or edit my online form. I think you should call them just to make sure :-)
Jul 13, 201511 yr Hi @malakite,I pretty much just studied the royal marsden book, but i think it's too long, although it did helped me to be familiarized with the UK setting. It's better to just study the all the standards from the nmc website especially medication management, and read about revalidation, safeguarding from scie. Also there's a practice test from the royal college of nursing website, a few of the questions I received were similar and, check out the NICE guidelines, as well. Some questions were basic med surg so it would also help to reread your old review materials. Dont memorize just make sure you understand the concepts. Best tip is to read all the topics that were posted here. I honestly didn't study the blueprint.
Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
