Hi guys! May i ask how long is the waiting time for Omanfil applicants to get their DL after sending their pack 1 and 2?

thesportyscribe I got a bit chatty with one of their staff and she seemed genuinely happy that I completed my documents. We talked for quite a long time and she told me most of what I shared a few posts back. I think they mail documents to the uk weekly and I know a few friends from the old scheme that shared their experiences. Really? you're from the province also? were you in manila for the iom tb screen?:)

NikkiFlores and thesportyscribe I am from the province too and I was also in Manila last week for my IOM tb certificate. I was not able to drop by their office to give my orig documents and personally ask some questions about the visa processing. It's actually good to know more people here who are under Omanfil like me. And in the assessment stage as well :) so I guess we have to wait for our COS from NMC first, then the DL from our assigned hospitals, am I right?

3 mos 1/2 since you sent all your NMC docs and online reqts?

Other way around. DL from NMC, then CoS from your employer.

@ms_cog86 Pay SAR 300 at the NCB then photocopies of College diploma, Saudi Council Certificate and ID. Don't forget the authorization letter. I hope you accomplish it. then tell me how it went. :)

Let your friend pay using your Iqama number so it will be under your name. by the way, is it valid? just tell the NCB to pay for Saudi council they know the account number, so no need to tell. You can swipe your credit or debit card at Jeddah Office but sometimes they say it is not working and it will be another hassle for the one who will pay for you as NCB branch is far away from that office. but still it is her choice. you can email me at [email protected].

Omanfil just called me early this morning and I asked the same question. They said I'll wait for my COS first which will be sent to us by e-mail from NMC. And then, Visa processing will follow. The processing staff said we could leave without decision letter yet. Hmmmm this is confusing...

Anyway, I've been under Omanfil too for the better part of last year, but I've since switched to ASC after being accepted by one of their client employers first. That, and Omanfil really grinds my gears.

It's up to the employer if they will allow us to leave without the DL. I know people both under asc and omanfil who left without their DLs.

@johnnnius the cos will come from the employer not from nmc :)
