Night Shift...

I"m not sure about that about but I"m working nights for sure.

i normally work night shift but right now i'm off due to surgery. i don't think there should be a main forum for nights. the day and evening shifts (at my work at least) don't think we do much and posting lets em know we do!

Night shifts are not always easy we need what eva help we can get.

Yep yep, I've been at work since 3 p.m. and I'm here till 8 a.m. it's a killer shift... A busy night too, everyone wants something..

im tiiiiiiired. im orienting to a new hospital cnt job, already employed with another also prn. and i have class at nursing school this morning from 8 til 1030. blah =( cant wait to sleep!

Yikes. I did night shifts for my last clinical in school, but fortunately they were only on weekends. Never had to go to class the next day.

I've been working the 7p-7a shift for almost 12 years. I love it. I've never had a chance to get on allnurses at work though!! I had staff meetings all day so I'm home tonight,,back tomorrow night. Have a great night!

working nights for about 14 years. LOVE IT. worked days for 1 year. HATE IT. what area is everyone in?

lucky! i want to get into critical care as soon as i can. but i was interviewed for med/surg first so im in a tech role until i can slide into it later in may hopefully.

i love working nights. its kinda tough though PRN during school.

I agree should be forum for night nurses. We are unique bunch. Personally I would not go to days if you paid me triple ~ love nights!

I work nights (11p-7a) and I love it. I choose to work nights. I've worked day and no thank! Plus who doesn't want to get paid more?!

Argh, I'm dying here...I really wish I could work 6p to 6a, I inevitably hit the wall during the last hour. Makes for really interesting report sometimes.
