Hi and :welcome: ,

From what I gather (I'm pretty new here too!), you have to be a general trained nurse RGN in order to gain employment in USA, or certainly for the agencies to be able to help you. i'm sure I'm I'm wrong someone will point you in the right direction. Not much help I know but there you go.

hi did you do any hours in maternity/ childrens/mental health while training?

welcome to allnurses by the way :)

Hi and welcome to the site

For the US you need to have hours in all specialities, would suggest doing plenty of reading on here and the international forum. Also if you fancy chatting we try and meet up every tuesday in the chat room (link at top of page) but you need over 15 posts unless premium member

You will also find this a very addictive site :D

welcome...

must be getting old.. took me a while to work out what LD meant!!! we used to call it a mental handicap nurse when I trained!!
