Hello All, I am new to this site. I am in my last semister of the registered nursing program at CSI in Twin Falls, Idaho. We are required to establish a sight and see what responses we get. The questions I would like response on is
1)To all the nurses out there, Do you prefer 8 or 12 hour shifts?
2)To all the nurses out there, What are your feelings on the new and fast growing "Travel Nursing?"
Thanks for you time and responses. Best of luck to all in there careers.

Welcome to this site! :)
1. I prefer 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week. With this type of scheduling I can receive 4 days off per week.
2. I don't have any strong opinions on travel nursing. It is useful when there's a need to fill the difficult shifts at facilities.

Hello and welcome to allnurses.
I am not a nurse yet, but the 3-12hr shift sounds great to me. To get 4 days off, that would be great!
Traveling, I dont know about that now. I am marry, unless my husband wants to travel with me.
