Hi all,
can people who have passed the NCLEX RN please suggest a good review course for me. I'm planning to enroll in kaplan but have heard some good n some not so good things about it. So is there anyone out there who has taken kaplan review n passed n feels that the course helped constructively for this exam. congratulations to those who who passed.....:):balloons:

I would suggest following the instructions given by Suzanne4 in the sticky at the top of this forum. Many people have followed her plan and have reported back to the website that they were successful. Good luck!

I just finished the Kaplan course last week. The classroom sessions were different than I expected, but I really like the online materials. If you do take Kaplan I would suggest you also get the online Q Bank. I am taking the NCLEX on Friday so I'll let you know after how well Kaplan prepared me for it!
thanks a lot for u'r input..i'll be eagerly waiting to hear from u after u'r done with u'r test.
ALL THE BEST.....

im taking kaplan right now and recommend it. they make it all make sense to me. im waiting to sit nclex again for the 3rd time so we will see how much it helps. i like the fact they believe in their course so much they give a guarentee. (well not to me as im going to be on the 3rd time taking it and i graduated in the uk)

The thing to know about Kaplan is that it is not a content review. The class room is dedicated to going over questions. You do get some content when they go over the reason why one answer is better than another. But some people are dissapointed about the lack of direct content. They do not go over ob one day, peds the next etc. The class room goes over question after question so you get to understand how to answer them. The best part of kaplan is not the class room, rather it is the q-bank and q-trainer available on-line. You can also watch video on-line of content review. The questions from kaplan were the closest to the nclex, compaired to many other's that I went through. All the best to you passing.

i did not do the kaplan classtime but did purchase access to qbank and question trainer (based on advise i received here). these are excellent resourses that provide feedback on what areas you beed to focus on. i think that the questions are more difficult than those in the saunders book.
i don't take the nclex til next month but know people who passed using soley kaplan. good luck!
