Yay ! You will get through it ! I looooved me some OB . Whoo Hoo !

Yeah I've got these three classes this summer, on top of crazy clinical hours, having to drive about 400 miles a week....I live in a really rural area, but I'm super excited about it (mostly about it being over, but excited still the same ) Everyone have a great semester! (Mine starts tomorrow !):nurse:

I didn't know LPNs had to take A&P. Interesting.

Specializes in Emergency Dept. Trauma. Pediatrics.

Here they have to take the same Pre Reqs the RN students do. That's how they are able to do the 1 year LPN-RN bridge program, because it's just that second year of nursing school that enables them to be an RN. Not sure how it works in other areas.

My cousin just finished an LPN program, got licensed, and now she's taking prereqs to go to LPN-RN program at my school (we have three RN tracks). She didn't specifically mention if A&P is among the prereqs she has to take or if she has already taken the series.

Confuzzling.

Just a mid semester update. OB is good, a&p II is good, med surg is not a lot of fun....clinicals are great I've got to see a lady partsl a section and a inguinal hernia repair in med surg....Just waiting on the end of the semester !

Just wanted to give everyone an update...Summer semester is over and I Passed !!!! One more semester to go in LPN school....
