I'm taking the nclex tomorrow at 11:00am. I'm trying to figure out how to get some sleep between now and then! I'm pretty high strung right now. I've tried to take the day off from studying today and now I'm wondering if that was a smart idea or not. Please pray for me to think clearly tomorrow. I figure if I don't know it by now I never will. You could make yourself crazy studying for this thing. To all those in the same boat good luck on your exam! Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Hello,
Good luck on your exam. Just remember to take your time and read everything closely. Do not rush or look at the clock because there is a sufficent amount of time for your to complete your exam. Make sure you have a good breakfest, a hot shower and clean clothes for the exam. You will be refresh and ready to take it. Go to bed cause your body needs all the energy for tomorrow. Oh do not forget your ticket, identification and empty your pockets prior to entering the test center.
Good luck and you will do just fine.

my thoughts are with everyone taking the exam rn or pn tomorrow. i know you all will do the best you possibly can and hopefully you'll feel a great deal of relief as you leave the testing center. just a word of caution: try not to make yourself crazy thinking that you might have failed. i did that exact thing when my computer shut off at 75 and i passed! be confident, centered and relaxed. remember that you know all you need to know to pass or you wouldnt have made it though school. now is the evaluation of how well you apply and think critically while incorporating this wealth of info as a compassionate and expert nurse.

Is it possible to hold your breath for 265 questions? Should I start practicing breathing techniques now so I will be able to handle it 2 years from now? :rotfl: :rotfl:
Goooooooooood luck to all taking their test today, this week, this month, this year! :)

I don't think you should try and find out :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sometimes taking a few calming breaths when your nervous helps, oh, and don't forget to exhale.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I took the test this morning and finished with 75 questions in about 1 1/2hrs. Now the wait begins. It was difficult, but I feel okay about it. I had lots of prioritizing, 2 fill in the blank math questions and 2 select all that apply. The test was like no other that I have taken. I'll keep you posted on the results. Thanks again everybody!! It's a relief just to have gotten it over with...now maybe I can sleep! :chuckle

So , did you pass?
I'm still waiting to find out. I really thought I would know by now. I hope that is not a bad sign. I've called the automated number more times than I can count hoping to find out but still nothing. NC doesn't particpate in the quick results with pearson vue. Originally, I was under the impression that you would know within a few days.
