NCLEX today

So I took it today and feel less than confident. I had about 130 questions. 10 select all that apply before I hit 75, no math. The last 20 or so were all priority (you come on shift which patient do you see first, you're a home health nurse all patients within 3 miles which do you see first). So I don't know what that means. I know the standard is to feel let down but I'm frankly nervous.

I know exactly how you feel. I just took my Nclex last week. I walked out of there crying I was so upset. I felt like I didn't know a thing. I had quite a few of select all questions to. I heard that those are the hardest and they would have to be. I'm sure you done fine. I will pray for you.

Fingers crossed!

fingers crosed. We dont know maybe you pass. keep us posted.

I'm with you on that one! I am very nervous as well. I took mine last week and got 265 questions. THAT'S ALL OF THEM!!! The last question I got was about a rape patient. The answers were pretty similar and so I guessed. I am pretty sure I failed. The crazy part is that the last question was the one which determines if I passed or not. Sad to say, I don't feel confident that I did.

Actually this is not true at all. It doesn't matter if you get the last question right or wrong. It does NOT determine whether you have passed or failed the exam. It is just a myth.

Really? It really does not matter if you answered the last question right or wrong??? My Kaplan instructor says it does. I'm all confused!!! So, what is it, does it or does it not matter????

Your Kaplan instructor was wrong. It's a myth. The last question will depend if you were above or below the passing standard. There are a lot of posts here that some have gotten the last question wrong and they passed, and some that have gotten it right and fail. So you never know.

good to know. thanks for the info!

Good luck. Hope you get good news.

The "last question" theory is false because we all know that every NCLEX taker receives 15 pilot questions that do not apply to the test taker's score. Since those questions are given at random, for all you know, the last question -- or the last 15 questions, for that matter -- are pilot questions.
