Hi Everyone, I took my NCLEx 3 months ago. The computer shut off at 75, all my classmates told me that I passed. I had a lot of priority questions and best response questions. Well, i found out that I failed it. I really thought I passed too! But that was 3 months ago, and now I am retaking it in a couple of days. I took the Kaplan review and scored above borderline, barely breaking into passing range. This time I hope to pass, does anyone know of anyone who failed at 75? or am I the only one...

Exactly what KatieBell said, don't let your past dictate your future. The amount of questions you get is not an indication of whether you pass or fail. Some people have failed at 75, others have passed with 265. Best of luck to you, and focus on THIS time, not your previous NCLEX attempts! :)

hi i recently retook the nclex and passed with 265 questions. remember:
1.) take a deep breath before you start and relax and whenever you start to get nervous
2.) read the questions carefully and take your time
3.) remind yourself you made it through nursing school, you can do this!
4.) take the break you are offered, let your mind rest for just a few minutes
this board is a great place for support and suggestions! it helped me alot!
good luck!

There have been ppl on this board that have failed at 75. I think anxiety gets the best of a lot of us.
Good luck!!!

You can take a break, remember that it counts as part of your time...........
No problem-don't you get 6 hours? My tests in school (100 questions) and the HESI tests usually take me 45 minutes, but I bet I will be stressed out for the NCLEX-I'll probably take the break!
After so much time, I think about 2 hours, the computer will ask if you want to take your break and you have to raise your hand to be escorted. You can also raise your hand at any time to go to the bathroom, but any breaks you take do count against your time.
