nclex 7/14

well the time has come. theres nothing more that i can do. i did a practice test last night scored 72% did one today and scored 67%( im not going to study the day before). tonight i might go over a few items that are vague to me..maybe do another test. i just need some good vibes and prayers pass over to me..something to keep the nerves down....I will have to say that reading some of the posts..i do have somewhat of a postive feeling..but i dont want to be too confident..:)

GOOD LUCK!!!! i'm sure you'll do grrreat! yeah..definitely don't study the day before--just take your time and stay calm! easier said than done! youre in my thoughts!

Good luck! 72 % and 67 % - you should be fine! I don't know if you're referring to the Kaplan Question Trainer or some other program. If it's the Kaplan, don't worry - I had to see for myself that the Kaplan questions are a lot harder than the actual NCLEX.

I never made it past 65 % on the Kaplan, and I passed the NCLEX with the minimum of 75 questions. You'll make it. Take a deep breath before going in there and tune everything else out. It's scary, but it can be done. I found that the NCLEX is actually easier than I expected.

:) Just remember to do all the usual study routines - Relax the night before, get a good night sleep, eat well, get there in plenty of time, dont panic with all the fingerprinting they do. You have 5 hours to complete it - many people are getting odd numbers of questions 75, 83, 85, 107, 140 and Yes there are some that get 265 and still pass! Never give up and you will go great! RNITA09, someone once told me that the practice questions are harder than the actual NCLEX. After taking the NCLEX, I agree. I did the practice questions on my CD and kept getting 70% all the time. I was told by a co-worker that if you can get at least a 65-70% on the practice questions, then you will pass NCLEX. I got 75 questions and they were all about things that I knew. I think there was ONE drug that I had never heard of on there. You will do fine on NCLEX. Good luck, wishing you the best!

good luck to you both!!! don't worry about the # of questions, as a matter of fact, try not to look at the #...( i had 265 and i think the # of questions can really play havoc on the brain!:uhoh21: )..
