My personal opinion is that getting the minimum number of questions is usually a great sign. With both my LPN and RN I was pretty positive that I had passed because I got 85/75. Easier said than done but try not to worry!

only from comparing which I know you are not suppose to do, but if your test stopped on 85............YOU PASSED!

Sorry, but this is most definitely not the case. And there are many that have posted here concerning the same thing.
We cannot assume that one passes because they have the minimum number of questions. The number of questions that anyone receives on the exam has no bearing on the outcome. What matters is the type and level of the question that they tester had. And that we know nothing about as well. Tester is not going to know the level of the questions either.
Always best to never assume. Only actual results really matter.

I agree that because you got the minimum # of the questions -- that does not correlate to passing.
After I took my exam on Monday, PearsonVue gave me an NCLEX handout that discusses what the # of questions mean and it says the same thing.. that you cannot predict the outcome of your exam based on the number of questions.
You should think positively but prepare for the worst.
I passed!!!! soooooooo relieved
