nclex-rn

Published

I wanted to start a thread for those taking their nclex soon (can be before or in 2015).

the idea I have is for us all to post a question (s) under comments and discuss our thinking/rationales/reasonings when picking an answer. Questions can be multiple choice, sata, drag/drop, priority, delegation, labs, etc

I really think this will be helpful. Let us learn from one another so that we may all gain understanding of contents and pass nclex! Also, tips and suggestions when answering questions would be helpful too.

Be sure to post your nclex-rn questions and respond back to others! :)

P.s. post the answer after people have gotten a chance to select a choice (or any other suggestion if welcome! )

I'll start with the first question:

A nurse following the progress of a client being treated for hypothyroidism. Which finding indicate that thyroid replacement therapy has been inadequate? Select all that apply

1 Prolonged qt interval on ecg

2 Tachycardia

3 Low body temp

4 Nervousness

5 Bradycardia

6 Dry mouth

Already took the test but I will guess 3 and 5

There was an amazing study guide posted on here! I can email it if you cannot find it!

I will also guess 3 and 5

Please explain why you chose that answer

There are several NCLEX groups on Facebook that are great for studying.

3,5 because this are the s/s of hypothyroidism. If the medication was adequate we would have seen tachycardia, increasing bp, and increase temperature.

Anyone looking for a study buddy in NY. Looking for someone to grow some ideas around with. Fun facts, ect. Can be great motivation

let me be ur study partner
