hi

i recently moved to bay area.

i am registered nurse in my home country(Norway), and have been working for 2 years before moving to US!

At the moment i am studiyng for NCLEX exam for registered nurse.

i wonder if any one can tell me how is the best way to get ready for the exam?!!

i have already got a few books that their mainfocus are on this type of exame !

i would be happy with any feedback from any of you who have taken the exame:)

Specializes in L & D, Med-Surge, Dialysis.

Review your content and practice question. Good luck!

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Practice questions and keep practising and read the rationale.

Much harder for a foreign trained nurse to pass first time and especially if you have experience. Remember the NCLEX is aimed at new grads so think new and not with some experience

Good luck

Just took the NCLEX RN this week and I have to say Kaplan worked well for me.

everyone says kaplan is good

i highly recomend kaplan review course its really good saunders book n practice questions best of luck

Start with the Saunders Comprehensive Review. Do as many questions as possible and study the rationales. Also look at the Prioritization book by Linda LaCharity. If you have the time and can afford it, you might want to do an in-person or online review couse. Many people like the Kaplan course. Good luck.
