Looking for advice on review material for the NCLEX.
I have the Silvestri book as well as the Mosby NCLEX review. I'm sure these are fine but I'm at my job (which is not in nursing or even healthcare) for about 60 hrs each week and can't easily - or discretly - pull these out to study during those rare times in the day when I have a few spare minutes. At least one company sells NCLEX review flashcards, which would seem to be ideal to use for ad hoc, quasi-clendestine study.
Has anyone used them and are they worth the $40 cost?

Yes they are. Especially for clandestine studying at work, etc... Also if you have access to a computer, you could always get a CD review to use. Really, spend the money as you want to pass, and once you do, the 40 bucks was money well spent!!

Which apps momof3? I have an iphone and would love some apps! But most I seen were over $20, which is fine, but I want to make sure I get good ones

If you can whip out your PDA, I would put some apps on it, or keep flashcards in your pocket. You can trim the flashcards a little so they fit in your pocket better. If you can put ear phones on, you can listen to stuff you have recorded on an ipod or from a pulse pen. And then there is the computer stuff instead of your work, have multiple windows open so you can switch back and forth when no one is watching.
