You need to contact the CA BRN with your questions, only they can assist you. Good Luck

thank you for your advice... do you think it is advisable for me to go to western union to pay for the fee in a money order?.. thanks...

CA usually is 3 years so she has until March 2011 to sort stuff out. Where are you now?

Should be on the letter of notification that is sent out when the BRN informs of results. Usually they give 3 years to provide SSN

Why is she reapplying to CA if she doesn't have SSN and won't before March 2011? She will just waste her money. Better to apply to a state that will give her a license without having her SSN.

I am also applying for Illinois. I didn't send my CGFNS-CES report because CTS will be accessing it through the internet which is directly from the CGFNS website. And for I know, there is no expiration of the CES report. Where did you see the expiration of your CES report?

I suggest that you should call Continental Testing Services (CTS) regarding your problem. Maybe they are still processing your files.

Good luck and God bless!

Don't get me wrong but did your sister-in-law pass her NCLEX-RN exam that she took on March 25, 2008? If not, then re-application is the step to be done. However, if she passed, she doesn't need to re-apply. California is waiting for her valid SSN or else her files might be destroyed.

i appreciate your suggestion but i think we had a misunderstanding... see she didn't pass her nclex last march 25, 2008... upon reading the documents sent by the BRN, she only had 2 years to process her reapplication/re-examination or her files will be abandoned... anyway... we are currently finding ways as to how to send her reapplication forms and the $75 payment to the BRN on or before the 25th... wish me luck...
