nclex foreign nurses

i am a registered nurse from India been working in Newzealand for 3 years. i want to apply for nclex . Anybody know i still required ielts to work in US.

huh?? I'm not really sure what your question is. I know a number of foreign nurses on my floor, and I'll be glad to ask them your question (see what they did) but what is it you want to know?

You might want to decide first in which state you want to work with. You should check www.ncsbn.org for the list of the State board of Nursing. also, if you are coming here and you are not on immigrant status, yes you do need to take IELTS...that's one of the requirements for foreign nurses who wants to apply for VISA screen via CGFNS. hope this helps? also check the international forum here in allnurses.com.

Check out the stickies here on this forum especially the one titled Primer to working in the US. Depends on BON to whether you need language exam but will need it for visa screen certificate. Suggest decide where you want to go and then take it from there, plus plenty of reading on here
