NCLEX in 3 days!

Published

I felt pretty confident up until today. I've been crying off and on. What the heck?? Maybe it's just nerves. I went to the gym and that helped and have been able to focus a little more. Still reviewing meds and trying to memorize the last few labs that I'm fuzzy on. I plan on studying all day tomorrow and then taking Monday off while we travel across the state to the testing site. I'm hoping I won't be too nervous to sleep Monday night as my test is at 8am. It helps to read what others have felt like as they faced this "test of a lifetime".

Take a deep breath, I'm sure you will be fine. You got this! All the best to you. Keep us posted!

Goodluck to you.. :) u can do it.

thanks ladies.. I'm trying to just take a step back and not let the nerves overwhelm like they were yesterday. I've studied hard and got through nursing school for heavens sake!

Specializes in ER.

Good luck! I just got my results back today from taking it on Friday and I passed. My best advice is go with your gut and if you don't know the answer go with the longest answer. I only had 76 questions! Also don't let your nerves get the best of you, I did and got like no sleep the night before!

But you still passed after getting no sleep?? Woot woot!! Good for you! I actually couldn't sleep at all last night from nerves so we'll see, maybe I will get all this out of my system by tomorrow night and be ready for a good nights rest? I can hope right? Anyways, I'm just focusing now on reviewing meds and neumonics. I will stay in touch and let everyone know :specs:

Best of LUCK!!!

how did it go???

I passed!! At least I'm pretty sure I did. The PVT wouldn't let me reregister. The test shut off at 75 (after 3 hours!!) and the questions were REALLY hard. The first two were standard multiple choice but I must have got them right cause the next one was SATA, along with the majority after that. I swear, 6-7 out of every 10 were SATA!! But I just consistantly and slowly worked through them, treating each option like a T or F. I also got 2 case study type questions but I'm thinking they are the harder rated ones? I personally preferred them way more than SATA, since they are so much more real world type of critical thinking. Anyways.. just sooooo stinkin glad I'm done with all this!!! Good luck to all of you and let the job hunting begin!!

to you! Can you share with us how did you study? And did you have any meds?

WOOOHOOO!! I'm so glad you posted!! I am going to take mine today at 2 :)

it's so relieving!!! congrats on passing
