I don’t think I’m going to get a financial aid package yet because I’m considered a non degree seeking student. It says on the website I have to claim a major to receive financial aid. Or would I get financial aid packet because I got accepted. I don’t know! I’m so impatient now !??

I think once you've been accepted they declare your program/major as Nursing automatically. At least that's what it says on my NCC portal under registration status

Where would I find registration status? I’m new here ??‍♀️

-Log on to your NCC

-press register for classes

- top part should then say personal information, student, and financial aid

-press student then press registration and then you should see the option registration status

THANKS - so it says Nursing Day - AS. I won't take this as a 100% in but maybe a good sign. I'll keep you posted as to whether or not I get a letter!!

Thanks - I was waitlisted at SBU so this is a huge sigh of relief and lots of excitement!

Hope so! I'm still curious as to how long the program takes. It doesn't seem to occur in cohorts (or does it?). I have almost all prereqs done and all gen eds so no clue how long it would take to complete the NCC portion. I never went to an info session (woops.).
