Yes, I know of at least two of us who are testing tomorrow, June 7th.
This morning I dutifully put away my NCLEX books, my med/surg texts, my lab book, my copious notes. I removed the bookmark to the online questions I purchased from my bookmark bar. I am already nervous, and my test isn't for 24 more hours! Ok, 23 hours. Not that I'm counting....
Today I have some errands to run, and will go for a long walk to tucker myself out enough that I will sleep tonight. Have a massage appointment. Tonight we're having game night with the kids--distraction is a very therapeutic technique, lol!!!!!
So. Who else is testing tomorrow, and how are you doing today? Grinnurse, check in here!
I'll post tomorrow after I test, give y'all a full report! Please think good thoughts.......for all of us.

LOL........put away all your stuff. Me too. Just trying to chill out today although the weather outside is not cooperating much. 90 F today and a miserable muggy but that's ok cause I am inside.
Plans fell through for spending the night near the test site r/t ball games tonight /c the kids, but that's ok. My mom is keeping them so once I get back I can do what I need to do to get "mentally" prepared. Since I wasn't staying the night I decided I would hop in the car and drive to the place where it is and I am sooooooo glad that I did! I would have gotten lost in the morning and imagine how stressful that would be on top of the test.
Tonight before I go to bed I am going to go over lab levels one last time and turn in. I have not slept well in 2 nights so I am hoping tonight I will be conting z's................setting 2 alarms to make sure I don't over sleep. Guess if I have time this evening after the games I will play some video games to whittle down the time. Just think, by this time tomorrow we should be done with the test.............wow
I will post here tomorrow when I get home and let ya know all about my experience. Until then, have a lovely, relaxing, fun evening with the kiddos and I will see ya on the boards tomorrow.
And remember, WE WILL PASS WE WILL PASS WE WILL PASS WE WILL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :icon_hug:

Ok guys-
We are gonna kick bu** on this test guys!!! Getting my coffee in then to the shower and shall march onward to my destination of Pearson Vue. We know this information. We have prepared for this for a long time. We have to take our time, read the questions carefully, and trust in ourselves. Remember to breathe and if we start feeling anxious take a break and walk around. I said a huge prayer for us last night and will again this morning and just b/f the test. If this is the path that we are supposed to be on, where we can be one of God's "warriors" then it shall pass.
Just remember.........WE WILL PASS!!!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you guys as we do this today.

(((((Andrea, Kelly and Todd))))) **sending lots of good luck and positive thoughts for you today**
Good luck to you all!!
Well, just got home from my exam. I had 75 questions. The only alternate items I received were "select all that apply". It was truly the strangest exam I have ever taken. I felt like the questions were getting progressively more difficult, so I suppose that's a good sign. My thoughts are with everyone who tests today. GOOD LUCK!!!

Just got home. I too had 75 questions. I burst into tears when the computer shut off. Trying to remain positive, but it was such a mind boggling test. I had at least five "select all that apply"--really, I lost count after that. I had a couple of "fill in the blank" ones, no "point to the right spot" or other alternate style.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I sure hope we are all put out of our misery SOON!! The waiting is gonna be hard! But all the positive thoughts helped....thanks everyone!

Hey Guys- So I either really failed this miserably or passed.
Just got back home. Don't have a clue as to how I did, do ya'll. Just feel kinda "bland". Husband asked me how I think I did, I had to say "no clue". Don't even want to go there trying to remember some of the questions that stumped me and I can't right now, but as soon as I lay down for my nap in a minute I am sure they will all come back :rotfl: :rotfl:
Mine shut off at 75-which really freaked me out I wasn't expecting that one. I thought my computer was messing up or something. :chuckle The only alternative questions I got were the select all that apply, one math, and tons of prioritizing and community health. I can honestly say that this test was like nothing I have ever encountered...............It's not what I expected. I expected more scenario questions or something.
Well the waiting will be excruciatingly painful for the next couple of days. Andrea, since ya'll don't have the ability to find out your scores early, how long are they estimating that it will take? Todd-does FL have it where you can find out early?
I was sooooo tired this morning. Did not sleep worth a dern last night again-imagine that? So I am headed off here to take a "hopefully" long nap!!
OK ya'll-think positive thoughts, and try to relax a little cause we can't change anything now. I will be praying for us until we all know our results.
TTFN-
Kelly
TGIO-thank goodness it's over!! :)
