Hello fellow Nurses! This site has helped me tremendously during my journey to pass the NCLEX so I figured I'd share my story. I graduated from Veeb 2014 and took about 2 months off from anything "nursing". In November I began studying the Saunders book and did practice questions online. I was scoring 50%-60% and felt very discouraged so I decided to go to a review class in West Hempstead, NY called READY TO PASS. I felt it helped me with prioritizing and they have tons of mneumonics to help remember things. One week after the review course I took my NCLEX and the computer shut off at 85 questions. I KNEW I FAILED. I had about 10-15 Select all that apply, 1 drag and drop and two images, 3 calculations, No audio and about 5 drugs questions. I felt so discouraged and started thinking of a new plan to master the NCLEX second time around. This morning I paid for the Quick results and learned that I PASSED!! I am still shocked because I thought by the computer shutting off at 85 questions that I failed miserably when really I did pretty good for it to shut off at the minimum and pass. One thing I will say is, you're gonna feel like you failed regardless because those questions have a way of making you feel like you know absolutely nothing! Don't doubt yourself and it ain't over until it's over so don't be like me and start preparing for studying for the NCLEX the second time around. (I even went as far as ordering Exam Cram on Amazon but something told me to wait lol) Good lucks to all the future nurses out there!
