Hi nursing student here, I am also a pediatric MA. I'm super busy all the time and always on my feet. Lately my back has been absolutely killing me, I'm guessing its my shoes as they are getting old.
My question is what kind of shoes do you all use? What kinds are the best for always being on your feet? Also any other advice would be nice
Thanks ?

I love my Danskos.
It's worth it at this point (given your work gig as well as your schooling) to have a consult with your doc. We can't give medical advice but if you're sitting a lot and not moving, and then you have to lift things, you probably need to consider body dynamics and ergonomics in addition to your shoes.

I wear New Balance 928's with Birkenstock inserts.
I also exercise every day, doing at least a 20 minute workout before work which greatly helps getting me warmed up for physical exertion and preventing injuries.

I second Danskos, although some people hate them. I also agree that new shoes may be a simplistic "solution" to your problem.

I have tried so many brands and the best for me are Klogs brand and I like the clog style with no back (slip in) A few years my last pair were just trashed so I stupidly bought a pair of Nurse Mates..big mistake....my feet were killing me 3 hours into my shift.I could not get a new pair of Klogs fast enough.
