I'll be finishing my 18 month program next month on the 17th :-D it may seem long but it's still intense but not nearly as intense as the 12 month programs it also allows you to get a good amount of clinical hours. Best of luck it flies by trust me!!!

Im 11 months into my 18 month LVN course. I had to go this route with a baby at home I could not afford to pay for daycare while going to school full time in the day. I would have to say it has allowed me to have a life outside of nursing school and work a full time job an best of all I get to watch my daughter grow.

I did an 18 month evening /weekend program. In class Mon-Thurs.( 6pm-10pm). Sat/Sun (7am-3pm) and I worked F/T as a CNA. It does seem like a long time, but time really does fly. It'll be over before you know it! Good luck!!!!
:smackingf WOW. I can't believe you guys worked FT during the program! Congrats! Me on the other hand, after work I'am so "braindead" and physically tired and I couldn't imagine how I could manage going to class after a long gruling day at work.
