Just purchased NC1 studyguide from minnay, just wondering if this guide is sufficent, it also came with interactive practice tests. I also have the studygroup101 notes, just don't know how to study for this exam, i.e notes first, then study book.... Help:bugeyes:

First and foremost if you havent already purchase the EC practice exams you should buy them like yesterday. That will give you a better idea of how much you know the subjects and tell your weak areas. After the practice exam you will study a little better because you now know where to focus on. I didnt use minnay study guides but i hve used thier interactive exams. When I studied for NC 1 I used chancellors studyguides where you can buy off ebay and I used lisa arends notes + ec practice exams. Good Luck on your studies!!

Where can I find the Minnay study guide?

I purchased their Patho tutorial. There is a student commenting "OK" after almost every phrase the lecturer states.

Unless you want to listen to "OK" alot don't purchase their Patho tutorial. I purchased the product in good faith thinking for the cost it would be well done. It's not.

I would not purchase another product from this company. I am concerned about the quality of their products.

Don't waste your money. I bought 3 of them and was not impressed. Minnay is like a College Network copy cat. Alot of the questions in the Minnay guides are the exact question in the College Network study guides. I called Minnay and told them that someone is a copy cat and the lady on the phone act like she didn't know what I was talking about. Duh!

I was fine with them being a copy cat. All I wanted was a nice Audio experience. This recording irks me.

I am nervous enough about Patho, and find the "OKs" off this recording anxiety provoking.

Did you ask for a refund? I am requesting a full refund since they do not want to satisfy my legitimate request.

I called and told them I didn't want the other 2 modules. They tired to give me a hard time. I paid for the first module and did not like it. So I called them and told them not to send the last 2 modules and that I had cancelled my credit card to make sure that they would not try to charge me for them. That was all and I never heard from them again. I was kinda sad because I wasted $175 on a crappy module.

I had Minnay's Micro and A&P materials, and they were full of spelling errors. If I'm paying that much, at least run a spell check, mkay? Ha ha! Crazy.

I did call them yesterday. They gave me another Pathophysiology model, but it is not audio and that is the only reason I bought the package. I may give them another call. I still find listening to the audio nauseating because of the 'OKs.' I have problems believing that noone would ensure that that would not happen during the recording. It wreaks of poor quality.

On the plus side, the sales lady is very nice and teaches Patho, somewhere. She did say they would look into correcting that and I am the first one to mention it. I guess it only irks me, but I was planning on playing this recording alot during HS and other times. As it stands, I will only listen to it once, then be done with it as it is painful to listen to.

I contacted them again and received a nasty email telling me they would not give me a refund or substitute another audio product.

Anyone else unhappy?
