I'm taking micro this summer too. It's in a blended format, so I only have to go in two days a week to do the labs; everything else is done online. I would rather have taken it in a full-length semester, but the schedule just didn't work out that way. Good luck to all of us!

Here's a useful website you might want to visit when you get to microbial genetics. http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/ You can do a practice version of transcription and translation plus a bunch of other interactive activities. I'm half-way through Micro (Spring), but i did take Chem over the summer....so bless you guys! If I could do Chem over the summer you can do Micro over the summer!! Good luck! :redbeathe

If I am accepted into my Nursing program, I will be taking microbiology over the summer along with human nutrition. *Sighs*. There goes another one of my blessed summers.

I am doing Micro lab this summer in 6 weeks...I am hoping i can handle it because I have already taken this course along with the lecture at another school but I was only given 3 credits for it all so when I transferred they told me that I have to take lab again because they give an additional 2 credits just for their lab so to them it looks like I never had a lab at all...even though I did and it was ridiculously hard =(. Frustrating...I just hope I can pull off another A cause I am taking Stats and Sociology in twelve weeks this summer too...those first 6 weeks are gonna be killer =(
